Counselling for clients and their families. 


Client advocacy, anxiety attacks, panic disorders (particularly Agoraphobia), depression, women's issues, childhood issues, people living with an intellectual disability and or a mental health issue and their families, rescue workers requiring trauma recovery, emotional crisis and trauma and stress management. If you are experiencing severe agoraphobic symptoms and find it hard to go about day to day living, Alyse can come to your home and work closely with you, one on one to regain your confidence, self esteem and independence.


COUNSELLING FOR CLIENTS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED TRAUMA AS A CHILD THROUGH DIVORCE

Alyse also works extensively with children through to adults who have experienced trauma during or after a divorce. Some of the areas covered are: child abduction, being denied access to a parent, reuniting with an estranged parent, being removed from siblings, affects of divorce on school grades and what ever pertains to this subject.


TRAUMA RECOVERY FOR RESCUE WORKERS

Alyse specialises in trauma recovery for front-line emergency rescue workers. Alyse holds a full accreditation as a former State Rescue Board certified Primary Road Rescue Officer in the NSW State Emergency Service. She has extensive experience in rescues, ranging from motor vehicle accidents, rescue from heights and depths and search and recovery. This allows a deep level of empathy and lived understanding into trauma recovery for rescue workers from SES, Police, Fire and Ambulance. Alyse has received awards for services rendered for her involvement in the 'Thredbo Landslide' rescue from the NSW Former Premier Bob Carr and State Liberal MP Dr Liz Kernahan.


COUNSELLING FOR CLIENTS TO BECOME JOB READY OR MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT

Alyse has worked extensively counselling clients to become job ready and then to support them to stay in their job and become the best worker they can become at their work site through her previous employer "Jobsupport". Many of her clients are currently in work and experience ongoing forms of mental health issues and or a disability. Having ongoing counselling, great support in the workplace, good communication and understanding bosses are the keys to maintaining long-term employment.
